Oh Revlon, so many new products I can barely keep up! People have been going on a frenzy over these new Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters. I told myself I would resist the hype, but I had a $3 off Revlon coupon so I couldn't let it go to waste. I ended up getting Creme Brulee, which is a nude color. Now, let's get to the review.
I'm really pleased with the color that I bought. It's a sheer nude, but still has a tint of color to it. Of course it's not going to be pigmented, since this is a lip butter. Once I put it on, it felt super soft and smooth on my lips. I was really loving it, and thinking this would be something that I would carry with me everywhere. Not really the case. I noticed after only a couple of hours it was completely gone. So I had to reapply quite a few times throughout the day. Other than that, I have to say that I like it, and might buy one more if I find them.
Also you might want to know if this was moisturizing it my lips. Since this is a lip butter, it made my lips soft for the time that the product was on my lips. Was it fixing my chapped lips? No. Just going over them I guess. So if you are expecting to buy this to make your lips more moisturized, wrong product. Go with a chapstick instead if that's what you want.
Bottom line is I like this product. If you find them, pick up one if your interested and see how you like it. There are so many different colors, you will most likely find one you really enjoy.
Tell me what you think!

My friend has one of these & she reapplies it all the time! Seems like a hassle
ReplyDeleteYes! It is such a hassle, which is why I don't keep it in my purse. I can't deal with that all day. Lol
