I've been struggling lately with trying to find a really good shampoo and conditioner for my hair. Some products will work for a while, and then I need to switch and I keep switching. I think I have more of a struggle because I always need a shampoo/conditioner that can do it all to tame my frizzy, wavy, hair. I tried out these Peter Thomas Roth shampoo and conditioner (trial sizes) to see how well they would work.
Here is a description of the Shampoo and Conditioner:
This vitamin-infused shampoo with Biotin B-7 Complex™ and vitamins C, E & pro vitamin B5 leaves hair clean, nourished, healthy-looking and head-turning. This vitamin-infused conditioner nourishes with a mega-luxe Biotin B-7 Complex™ and vitamins C, E & pro vitamin B5 leaves hair soft, smooth, stylish and touchable.
I really felt a difference with this shampoo vs. ones I use from the drugstore. It made my hair feel more manageable even before I used the conditioner. It has a nice clean smell which I really like. I used half of the bottle and kept what I could for the next time I wash my hair. I actually kind of hooked already. This can be for all hair types, but I was definitely not sure how it would work with my wavy, thick hair. It worked really well! I loved the way it made my hair feel.
Now for the conditioner. It was creamy and not heavy at all. I definitely need to stay away from conditioners that can weigh down my hair. This did not do that. I left it in for about 3 minutes, as I always do when use conditioner. Once I rinsed it out, my hair was SO soft! I honestly couldn't tell much though until my hair dried. I always just let my hair air dry, since I don't want to use heat on my hair. Once it dried, I could really tell a difference in my hair. It was softer and definitely much more less frizzy than ever. The shampoo and conditioner just made my hair feel amazing. I'm going to buy them soon on the website, I just can't deny how they made my hair feel.
These products are a bit pricey, $18 each, but I feel like your getting products that are worth it with their quality.

Samples were provided by PR, as I am apart of PTR Skinbassador.
I have tried everything from Bumble & Bumble to Suave and I honestly can not tell the difference between high & low end 'poo & conditioner. The ingredients are so similar, I honestly can't justify spending that much (especially since my hair is just in a pony tail most of the time anyway!)
ReplyDeleteFor me, it makes a bigger difference if I pay attention to the benefits & make sure I'm buying shampoos and conditioners that are made for my specific concerns.
Oh! And ya know that "it works for a while then stops" thing? I've read several experts say it's not the shampoo/conditioner, but likely a buildup of product or even deposits from your water causing the change. If you use a clarifying shampoo once a month or so, you should find that your favorites keep performing for you!
