Maybelline Lifter Gloss - Swatches and Review

 Maybelline has some new Lifter Glosses that are really popular right now and for good reasons. These glosses are shiny, lightweight and have gorgeous coverage. I picked up two shades: Moon and Reef. One is more of a shimmery gloss and the other is just an opaque color with no shimmer. I'm actually really happy with the shades I chose. They might look the same in the packaging but they are both different and pretty in their own way. Find out more info and see swatches below.

The first thing that drew me into these glosses was the packaging. I actually like how they have some weight to them and I love the nude colored tops with the clear plastic. The doe foot applicator is extra large and picks up a lot of product. I personally feel like it picks up too much sometimes, but that is an easy fix by just applying what you need/want.

 

Here are swatches of the Maybelline Lifter Glosses in Moon and Reef. Moon is a really pretty nude pink shade that works great on its own or layered over lipsticks. Reef is also nice with opaque coverage on the lips and I love the coral shade. They are not too sticky and they last quite a few hours before having to reapply. The glosses have Hyaluronic Acid to help hydrate the lips and keep them visibly smooth. I definitely notice a difference when I wear these glosses. My lips just feel more hydrated and smoother when they are too dry. These glosses are going to be perfect for those winter months, so give them a try.
