MIX:BAR Eau De Parfum Scent Discovery Set - Review

Target has been coming out with a lot of new brands in the makeup section and MIX:BAR is one of them. The brand creates a different mix of scents that can be played around together or you can pick a fave and wear it on its own. This MIX:BAR Eau De Parfum Scent Discovery Set ($13.99) is a great way to try out all of the scents that are sold and which one you love the most. I love sets like this as gifts for those that like to create their own scent.

The scents that are included are Tangerine Squeeze, Glass Rose, Coconut Palm, Cloud Musk and Vanilla Bourbon. All of the scents are strong in a good way and hours throughout the day. I like this brand because it is clean, vegan and cruelty free. I love that they are small spray bottles, which makes it easier to keep in my purse and use on the go. If you have seen this set at Target, definitely pick this up.

My Current Skincare Faves: Yes To, Thayers, Sweet Chef, Pixi Beauty

 It has been so long since I've sat down and written a post here, but I wanted to jump back in and share my recent skincare favorites. These are products that I have been using on a daily basis and they the combo of all these products has been working out so good for my skin. There are definitely other products that I use either in the morning (SPF) or at night (night cream) but I'm just showing a few that have really been my absolute faves for the past few weeks. Let me share about each product and why they are the VIP products of my skincare routine. 

The Thayers Facial Mist ($11) is something I will use at the end of my skincare routine, but I wanted to share this first. I love that it is formulated with Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel Extract to help calm and soothe the skin. I have been using the unscented one, and this works best for me since I can be allergic to certain scents in skincare. It's great to use any time of the day and I like to use it before I do my makeup to help my concealer and foundation to not look dry or cakey. Definitely gives this a try if you haven't. 

An eye cream is important in my skincare routine and I have noticed a difference when using the Yes To Avocado Daily Eye Cream ($10). This product was not a fave of mine at first. I felt like it was too lightweight and was just okay the first few times of using it. But now that the weather has been warmer, this is the perfect eye cream BECAUSE it is lightweight. I love that it's fragrance free and I notice a difference under my eyes when I use it vs. when I forget or skip. It keeps everything hydrated all day long and doesn't mess with my concealer that i put on. 

The Sweet Chef has some amazing products and I love their Kale + Vitamin B Serum Shot ($19.99). It has more of a milky consistency but feels nice on my skin. It helps the dry areas while still being gentle and hydrating on my sensitive skin. I'm almost half way done with it, but I feel like it's worth it. Just so if anyone is wondering, this product is vegan and cruelty free. 

Can you tell I love this product? One of my most favorite skincare products is the Pixi Rose Ceramide Cream ($24). It is an intense moisturizer that is ultra hydrating and just makes the skin feel so buttery soft. If you have dry skin, you need this product. Don't think about the price because it is going to last. A little bit goes a long way. I feel like I've had this for ages and I still have a lot of product to go.
