Glamour Doll Eyes Halloween Set #2 Swatches
September 27, 2011
If you have a Rite-Aid drugstore in your area, then you know that they sell Jesse's Girl Cosmetics. I have always seen the brand, but never knew much about the company or how good the products were. I own a few nail polishes by them, but this is my first time trying out their eye shadows. I have swatches of the compacts and a review of each one individually.

I have had this Too Faced Natural Eye Shadow Collection for some time now, but I decided I should put up some swatches and a review for those that are still interested in getting this product. I prefer my shadows like this, where they are in some sort of palette, then individual. Just makes my makeup process faster and easier when I need to get out the door.

What is your current foundation?
My Answer: For the summer I was using Maybelline FIT Me Foundation since it was light-weight and had an SPF. Now, I have switched for something with more of a coverage recently. I've been trying out Chanel Perfection Lumiere right now.
What about you?

Nuance Salma Hayek Dark Cacao & Coffee Firming Body Cream Review
What have you thought about the new Salma Hayek line called Nuance at CVS? I was not honestly that interested. I loved the packaging design on everything, but I wasn't too sure I would really be that impressed by the whole line. A while back I had seen that CVS had free samples of a few of the Nuance body products. Who's going to pass on free samples? So I decided to get one of each sample and try them out. The one that fully caught my attention was the Dark Cacao and Coffee Firming Body Cream.
Here is how the product works:
Coffee seed extract can help stimulate the skin for a smooth, toned and refreshed appearance. Cocoa seed butter aids in hydration and invigoration for more vibrant-looking skin. Rice bran oil helps condition and moisturize skin.
My Review:
So I ended up using the entire sample. More importantly, after I finished the sample, I ended up buying a bottle because I could not go without it. I have continuously used this every day and it is amazing. I think what gets me loving this is the smell. It has cocoa seed butter and rice bran oil, which you can obviously smell the cocoa butter. But it's not overbearing at all, just a nice smell all around. For me, my skin tends to be on the drier side, which this cream seemed to really help with. I felt that it was not greasy at all, and left my skin actually feeling smoother. This product also claims that after 30 days of use, 92% of women noticed improved skin texture. I haven't use this for 30+ days so I can't say. I will do a follow up post once I have.
I ended up getting this on sale, which I definitely recommend doing if you can. It normally costs $14.99, which seems like a lot for a drugstore product. I bough this when it was on sale for $11.99 and I had a $3 off coupon. Plus, $1 extra bucks, which made my total $7.99 plus tax. I thought that wasn't bad at all, almost half the original price. So definitely take advantage when CVS has their sales on Nuance skin products and try this out.
Have you tried this? Any products from Nuance I should review? Let me know!

I was lucky enough to find the Wet N Wild On the Prowl collection at a near by CVS. Plus, this week at CVS, Wet N Wild lips, eyes, and nail products were buy one get one free, so I found the collection just in time to get 2 of the 4 I bought free! The display I had found was already very limited, so I only got these 4 polishes. There are a totally of 8 polishes that came out with this limited edition collection.
I ended up loving Cougar Attack more than I thought I was going to. I love the way it has a dark base and coppery glitter. Tangled in my Web and Correction Tape are obviously nail polishes meant for laying on top of others. I feature them more in other NOTD posts when I get more time to play with them. They are all great polishes, so I would be looking out for them at CVS! Let me know if you find them.

I seem to can't get enough of wearing China Glaze on a daily basis. This NOTD is featuring Urban-Night from the China Glaze Metro collection. This is a rich purple creme polish, and I ended up doing 3 coats. I also wanted to make sure I took the picture in natural light. I noticed when I was taking pics of this inside, the color was way off. This is pretty much exact to how the color wears in person.
Excuse the slightly, almost inexcusable way I put this polish on. Sort of sloppy and I was in a rush to get to school. Just throwing that out there. Overall, I love this deep purple nail polish and is a definite favorite for me.

What is one makeup product you regret buying?
My Answer: Has to be the L'Oreal One Sweep eyeshadow, I just never use it.
