Introducing Too Faced's Fall 2010 Collection: Get Naked

June 28, 2010

Seriously Too Faced never disappoints with new collections. This one seems to take a big interest for me because I am such a neutral kind of girl. I tend to wear more color if I'm going out on the town (which is rare), so most of the time it's natural looking makeup. Eek! I'm already squealing I'm so excited, okay let's get into each product.

Absolutely Flawless Flexible Coverage Concealer ($20)
Banish imperfections and erase stubborn dark circles while customizing your coverage from sheer to full with this peptide and vitamin rich, luxurious formulation.
I don't really have a HG Concealer or anything I use consistently, so this could be a buy for me to try out.
Leopard Love Bronzer Palette ($30)
Bronze, blush and brighten with this all-in-one complexion perfection collection containing three purrrfect shades to complement anyone's skin tone. Our best-selling Pink Leopard Bronzer shines bright, with two new combinations.
So pretty! I would need to see and tests it out at Sephora before just getting it because of the leopard. Which isn't a bad decision either. Haha

Lashgasm ($21)
Lashgasm is a voluptuous, fluffing mascara that conditions as it thickens to create dramatically long lashes with intense color. Our unique, flexible molded brush grabs lashes from all sides for a climax of length volume.
Too Faced have always been good with their mascaras, so this one interests me. I want to test it out and see if does what it says. Need to put it to the test.

 Naked Eye Kit ($35)
With our gorgeous collection of naturally nude shadows that will have you looking super neutral yet drop-dead-gorgeous for any occasion.
 Want. Now. Can't. Wait.
So these were only a few things from the collection that I was excited about. Everything is available already on their website. You can also go to their Facebook page here and see all the pictures with links to each product.

Anything look interesting? Let me know in the comments what you think!

Gorgeous Glosses By Napoleon Perdis

June 22, 2010

During Summer, I am always on the hunt for a brilliant and luscious lip gloss. I can't believe how amazing these Napoleon Perdis lip glosses are. I'm going to get into detail a little more about each one.
Okay so the pink one is different than the other two. The pink one is called Angelic Psychedelic from the Luminous Lip Veils. The yellow one is Tokyo from Gloss Patrol. And the last one that is a pearl gloss is called Marilyn. I couldn't find it on the website, but I did find it here

How they feel: They feel incredibly like Chanel lip glosses but way.. how you say.. better?! Yeah I know, but they do! And they are only $20 each, which is cheaper than the Chanel Glossimers when you still want a luxurious gloss.

How they smell: I could literally sit and smell them all day long. Sort of a soft fruity smell that is almost delicious? Just don't eat the gloss. Hard for me to resist. Ha!

How they are: Mostly what stands out, is that they come with a brush applicator which I love. The color of each one does come out on your lips sheer but the way they shine in the bottles are the same shine on your lips.

Will I buy when I run out? Oh yeah!

Hopefully this was helpful to most of you wondering about these!

Brand Bests #6 - Clinique

June 13, 2010

Wow, it has been the longest time since I did a Brand Bests. Need not to worry, as I'm back with Brand Bests on Clinique this round. I must say that Clinique was my very first big makeup brand that I bought from when I was maybe 15 years of age. Back then I didn't really know how good Clinique was until a few years later. Now it's like my most favorite brand to revisit.
Know that this is from my experience with each item that I have loved from each brand. This is my opinion always.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
One of the best lotions I have used. Never drying to my skin and always soaks in really well. I like this one better than the gel formula. For some reason the gel one tends to not make my skin as smooth or as soft. Don't really know why, but this one is really great. Works way better when you use the 3 Step skin care that Clinique carries.

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover
This will take off your makeup everywhere you have makeup on. I like this a lot more being a contact lens wearer because it doesn't irritate my eyes. Extremely sensitive to my skin also. It can tend to have an oily feel, so I don't really recommend if you have oily skin. For me having dry and sensitive skin, I like the oiliness to it.

Clinique Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer
I had this lovely wonder in the back of my makeup stash for a while during Winter, but it's definitely time to bring it out. SPF 25? Can't go wrong with something protecting your skin from the sun. Also fight the effects of emotional stress, which can damage skin with effects like sun and pollution. Again amazing for extra dry to dry skin.

Clinique Happy Heart Perfume Spray
I had to include this amazing fragrance. It smells so divine and always get compliments when wearing it. Sadly I ran out a while ago. I will definitely be getting more, it smells so lovely. This is one product you have to smell for yourself to judge. Everyone is different when it comes to perfume.

Yay! Hope you enjoyed this Brand Bests!

What are your favorites from Clinique? Let me know!

Review - Aveeno Ultra Calming Products

June 11, 2010

So today's review is about 2 products: Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser and Daily Moisturizer. So you know what kind of skin I have, it's very sensitive and tends to get dry. Never oily and can have redness once in a while. Now I will start with the cleanser.
