Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - Review

December 12, 2015

Micellar Cleansing Water has become a staple in my skin care routine and I'm so excited that Garnier now has their own. I have been hooked on Bioderma since the first time I tried it, but it can get expensive to keep buying it once I run out. Then I found the one from Simple which was great and something pretty easy to find in retail stores. This Garnier Micellar Water has been the best of them all and I have more info about why below.

More information about the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water:
This all-in-1 cleanser is surprisingly powerful yet gentle to skin. It effectively removes makeup, cleanses skin and refreshes. A multi-purpose cleanser that contains Micellar technology. Like a magnet, micelles capture and lift away dirt, oil and makeup without harsh rubbing, leaving skin perfectly clean, hydrated and refreshed without over-drying.

Garnier has came out with two versions of their Micellar Water: One that is a remover for regular makeup (which is this pink one) and the other is a remover for waterproof makeup. Both are for all skin types even those like me with sensitive skin. I bought the pink one because I don't use too much waterproof makeup, but it's great that there is an option for those that do.

The cleanser really lifted and took off my makeup quickly and I didn't have to be harsh with my skin. Even going around my eyes to take off black eyeliner and mascara I didn't have any trouble. I love this cleanser so much because of how my skin feels after I use it. My skin feels refreshed and clean without any kind of drying. I did do a comparison to the Bioderma one where I used one on each side of my face to see if there was any difference. I honestly couldn't see or feel a difference in the two cleaners. They both took off my makeup with the same amount of cleanser which is great. I definitely recommend finding this in stores and giving it a try yourself.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water retails for $8.99 and can be found at CVS, Walgreens, and other retail stores.
