Today I have a look at the e.l.f. Illuminating Palette that comes with 4 shades that you can use together or each on their own to highlight. I was hoping that this palette was going to be a good alternative to those higher end highlighters. Find out more below on my thoughts on this!

I didn't really expect much from this palette, but it ended up being something I can use on a daily basis. This Illuminating Palette gives the right amount of glow without looking chalky or glittery. The highlight is subtle, but that's what I love about it. I can see it reflecting the light just enough and I don't feel like I look greasy or it's too much shine. None of the shades have glitter which I prefer and all four last all day.
I do have to mention the packaging and how great it is that it comes in a sleek black palette with a large mirror. This is a great product for travel and you can use it to highlight all over the face. I tend to use it on my cheekbones, under my brow bone, and a little on the cupids bow. The price is inexpensive and you get 4 shades that you can really play with and use the colors in different ways.
