Cover FX Blemish Treatment Primer - Review

August 24, 2015

Today I have a review of the Cover FX Blemish Treatment Primer and also the Cover FX Blemish Primer Brush. They really go together and make applying the product more easier and more hygienic. Even though I don't use this all the time, it a great product to have when any annoying blemishes pop up and I need something that is going to work quickly and efficiently. Find out more info below!

More information about the Cover FX Blemish Treatment Primer:
Heal and seal blemishes with this targeted spot treatment primer. 0.5% Salicylic Acid prevents and heals blemishes, Lactic acid gently exfoliates and supports natural cell renewal, a blend of Witch Hazel, Tea Tree, Thyme, Rosemary and Lemon Extracts provides skin clarifying benefits, and a blend of Algae Extract, Carrageenan and Kelp Extract nourish skin and help create a smooth surface for makeup application.

This is a clear lightweight primer that I usually apply when I need something to treat and cover any blemishes. Once it is applied it helps to make the skin smoother where I’ve applied the primer. So then when I apply my makeup over it doesn’t cake up or make my skin look dry. You don’t need a lot, just a small amount to cover each blemish. I use this day or night depending on when I need it. Once I’ve cleaned my skin and hands thoroughly I will apply this to certain areas that need it and then apply my makeup. Using the Blemish Primer Brush helps to keep application more hygienic. The small pencil point gives a smooth application of Blemish Treatment Primer directly to blemishes. The synthetic brush fibers have been treated with an antimicrobial formula for a hygienic application that’s lasts for up to 20 washes.

You can use the product 1-3 times daily or as much as you think you need it. I used to use a Chanel blemish treatment product but I feel like this one is more effective and treats the areas well. I usually see improvements on blemishes within a week or sooner if I use it everyday. I only use it once a day since I have sensitive skin and I’m cautious about using too much. I definitely recommend this if you need a great blemish treatment that also gives your skin a smooth finish.

Cover FX Blemish Treatment Primer retails for $22 and the Blemish Primer Brush retails for $20. Both can be found on the Cover FX website
