My Current Skincare Routine - Dermalogica, e.l.f., IT Cosmetics

September 12, 2018

Today I am sharing my current skincare routine and what products I have been using everyday. I have dry and sensitive skin, so I use products that are gentle yet effective for my skin type. This is more of my daytime skincare routine since I switch out a few products for night time. All of the products I use have been great and each one has a purpose. Find out more below.

An eye cream/treatment is important for me to use on a daily basis. I use the Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift ($68) which helps minimize puffiness and dark circles. The cream is lightweight and works within minutes of applying. It has a cooling applicator making feel refreshing and easy to massage into the skin. The Nuance Dual Phase Makeup Remover ($8.79) might be still available at your local CVS but could be hard to find. It takes off all of my eye and face makeup super quickly and gently. I love this makeup remover and I'm sad that now I will have a hard time searching for it. Another product in my skincare routine is the IT Cosmetics Miracle Water 3-in-1 Micellar Cleanser ($38). It helps to cleanse my skin and give it a radiant and brightening boost. It is gentle, hydrating, and keeps my skin feeling softer and smoother.

To prep my skin for moisturizers and treatments, I use the Kate Somerville Exfolikate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash ($38). I love how gentle this cleanser is and it doesn't make my skin feel tight or dry after. You don't need to use a lot and it has an amazing fresh scent. The Pixi Beauty Jasmine Oil Blend ($24) is something I recently started using and now I'm addicted to using it everyday. I've noticed my skin feeling like it has no moisture and this has boosted up the hydration and balances everything out. One of my products that I actually can take with me on the go or use whenever I need it is the e.l.f. Cosmetics Prep & Hydrate Balm ($8). It hydrates and preps my skin for makeup and for days that I don't want to wear makeup and just use the stick. Last but not least, is the IT Cosmetics Secret Sauce ($68). If you have dry skin like I do, you will want to invest in this skincare luxury. It is a pricey moisturizer, but it keeps my skin hydrated all day long and feels lightweight.

Let me know what kind of products are in your current skincare routine!
