E.L.F. Mineral Mineral Pearls - Review

August 21, 2014

I recently saw that E.L.F. had these new mineral pearls on their website and I wanted to try them out. I actually don't use that many powder products on my face that much since my skin is more dry. But these seem like they could balance my skin out and give me a healthy glow than looking too powdery. Find out how they were below!

There are two different shades, one is natural and the other is skin balancing. I knew that the skin balancing one would have to work for my skin since it can be uneven and I deal with some redness. The natural I also thought would be great to use just to give my skin a little more glow. These are meant for use all over the face and with a kabuki brush or powder brush.

I ended up really liking these mineral pearls for my skin. Even though I do have dry skin, I didn't notice the product making my skin look more dry or too matte. The natural one looked great on my cheeks to give some glow. Now these aren't going to be super glowy and shimmery, they just provide enough of a boost for your skin to look healthy and natural. I noticed with the skin balancing one that it actually did give my skin a more even look and again, without making my skin look super dry.

I do like to go light handed on these when I use them because I don't want to be packing on too much product. I just swirl a big powder brush into the pearls around a couple of times and then apply. My skin is also sensitive, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be allergic or the product irritate my skin. I didn't have any problem with those happening. I would definitely buy these again, and for the price you can't go wrong.

E.L.F. Mineral Mineral Pearls retail for $8 each and can be found now at the E.L.F. website.

I hope this review was helpful! Any questions, please let me know!
