Dermalogica Dynamic Recovery SPF50 - Review

August 23, 2014

Today I have a review of a moisturizer from Dermalogica. This is the Dynamic Recovery SPF 50 which has a lot of great ingredients without artificial fragrances, colors, or parabens. Products from Dermalogica have always worked out great for my dry and sensitive skin. I knew that this moisturizer could be something that would be easy to add to my regular skin care routine. Find out more info and my thoughts below!

More information on the Dermalogica Dynamic Recovery SPF50:
Help minimize skin-aging triggers with this medium-weight, emollient daily moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF50. Patented Oleosome encapsulation technology boosts sunscreen effectiveness for critical protection against UV rays, while a unique polypeptide helps encourage collagen-producing activities.

This has been one of the best moisturizers for my skin. When I applied it, I noticed that it wasn’t sticky or too oily. It was just enough moisture that lasted throughout the day and my skin didn’t look dry at all. I don’t like moisturizers that are really greasy or take long to soak into the skin, and this doesn’t do any of those. It really sinks into the skin and provides great moisture. I even noticed applying my makeup on top felt smoother and more easy than before.

I think it’s really great that this has SPF50 in it. I usually remember to wear sunscreen on a daily basis because it’s always so hot but not usually SPF50. So this having a higher SPF is nice since I know my skin is protected.
This price point is high for this product, but always know that skin care should be something that you invest in. If you want great products for your skin, sometimes you need to pay more for the quality. I would definitely buy this once I run out since it's a moisturizer that I know is going work.

Dermalogica Dynamic Recovery SPF50 retails for $65 and can found online and where Dermalogica is sold.
