Event Recap: Natural Products Expo West 2014

Last weekend I attended Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim. This was my first year attending and I couldn't believe how many companies and opportunities to connect with them were. Natural Products Expo West continues to be the leading trade show in the natural, organic and healthy products industry. I wanted to find out more about natural beauty products and there was some great companies. See more photos below!

J.R. Watkins Natural Products had some new products that they were featuring. First was a new skincare line of anti-aging products. An anti-aging body wash, body cream, hand cream, and a body serum. I’m really curious to know how these products work in the long run.

J.R. Watkins Natural Products also had a new line of products that have pomegranate and acai. The line includes a body scrub, body lotion, bath and body oil, and a hand cream. This smelled so good and I’m interested in trying these as well.

I was really excited to see LA Fresh there at the Expo and that they have some new products coming out soon! They will have new skin care products out in May/June. I received a few samples of the facial moisturizer so I will try it out and give a review in a few weeks.

I saw this new lip balm from Dr. Lip Bang’s called Lip Freak. It says that within a minute your lips will freak out once you apply it. They will feel like a vibrating buzz so they say. It was definitely a freak out for me once I had this on my lips. At first I didn’t feel anything for about 5 minutes, then all of a sudden, POW! My lips were buzzing but also stinging and burning! I had to actually rub my lips with my sleeve to get it off, my lips were really freaking out. Could possibly be because my lips are sensitive, but it was not a good buzzing feeling.

These are brand new nail polishes from Pacifica. I don't know too much about this brand, but I'm excited about these gorgeous polishes. 7 Free is formulated without: phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, xylene, parabens, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and animals. They will be available for purchase mid-April.
