Today I have photos and review of the March Beauty Box 5. This month’s box is all about “Spring Cleaning”, taking care of your skin and stopping any bad habits. This actually reminded me that I need to go through all my makeup and throw out anything that is no good. Find out more on this Beauty Box 5 below!
Swissco Dual-Sided Facial Pad - I was actually looking for something like this the last week. I always need to exfoliate my face since I have such dry skin and this definitely comes in handy. I noticed that it did a good job at exfoliating my face without being too harsh.
Tree Hut Moisturizing Hand Cream - This is one of the best hand creams I have used! The coconut lime scent it so heavenly and the cream itself is not too thick. I also liked how it didn’t feel greasy and it dried quickly, I wasn’t sitting there waiting for my hands to dry. This is made with organic shea butter, argan oil, and chamomile extract. Another plus is that it’s paraben free.
Design Essentials Natural Curl Enhancing Mousse - I don’t usually like to use mousse in my hair because sometimes it my hair can get too hard/crunchy. Since my hair is already wavy, I used this once my hair was damp and let me hair air dry. My waves seemed more together but no hard/crunchy hair which worked great.
Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Base - This is described as an all-in-one product that hides imperfections. You can use this as a concealer, illuminator, and eyeshadow primer. I used this all the three different ways it says and I liked it as a concealer and eyeshadow primer. As an illuminator, it didn’t quite do anything for me. I also didn’t use this as an under eye concealer, but more as a product to cover imperfections as it says. As an eyeshadow primer it worked great as well and kept my shadow on all day without any creasing.
Jane’s Pick All Natural Soaps - This soap is made from an all natural blend infused with herbs and flowers. I used up this soap pretty quickly and I really enjoyed it. It lathered up nicely and surprisingly I wasn’t allergic to it. I’m so sensitive to certain scents but this one was nice and refreshing.
This was a great box this month and I’m happy to try brands that I never tried before. Everything this month was stuff that I would actually use which is awesome.
