Maybelline Snapscara Washable Mascara - Review

January 12, 2019

Maybelline has recently launched a new mascara that you can put on and take off in a snap. The new Maybelline Snapscara is a washable mascara that is made to give your lashes volume while also being clump-free. I have had some hits and misses when it comes to Maybelline mascaras, so I wasn't sure how much I would like this product. I was hoping to find a new drugstore mascara that would be good enough to stop me from buying high end mascaras that can get pricey. Did this do the trick? Find out more on my thoughts below.

More information about the Maybelline Snapscara Washable Mascara:
Meet a new generation of mascara! Snapscara is our 1st pigmented wax-free mascara that features a zero-hassle, no clump formula that glides on smooth for clean volume and defined lashes all-day. This voluminous mascara is made without pigment-dulling waxes and the effect is super-saturated lashes with pure color intensity. Easily remove this game-changing mascara with a cotton pad and warm water - it's never tough to take off. You will never need to rub or experience those dreaded racoon eyes. This colored mascara is ophthalmologist tested and suitable for contact lens wearers.

Let me first mention about the packaging of this mascara. It comes in a cute, sleek tube with eyes and lashes on the side. The brush is flexible and the formula is pigmented. I like how the brush is tapered on the end with smaller bristles, making it easier to get to the smallest lashes and corners of the eyes. The formula is not too wet and not too dry which is something that is a plus for me. My lashes cannot take a mascara that is too wet because it will weigh them down and they will not stay curled. Maybelline Snapscara comes in 4 shades: Ultra Violet, Deja Blue, Black Cherry and Pitch Black.

I ended up really liking this mascara and would definitely buy this again. It gave my lashes a nice amount of volume and didn't make them clumpy no matter how much I was applying. Throughout the day I didn't notice it flaking or smearing at all. To take off the mascara, all I used was micellar water and a cotton pad. It came off with ease which I liked at the end of a long day. You should give this a try and let me know what you think of this mascara!

Maybelline Snapscara Washable Mascara retails for $5.99 and can be found at CVS, Walgreens, Target and other retail stores. Also online.
