Biore Charcoal Pore Strips - Review

March 9, 2015

Today I have a review of the Biore Charcoal Pore Strips that I recently found at CVS. I have always used a higher-end brand of charcoal pore strips, so I was curious if these could be a cheaper and better alternative. Find out my thoughts below!

More information about the Biore Charcoal Pore Strips:
Clean and invigorate your pores with these Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips from Bioré. With the help of natural purifying charcoal, each of the six nose strips will pull out even more dirt that can cause blackheads leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean. With the natural charcoal, these strips provide the added benefit of oil absorption to reduce shine.

These charcoal pore strips did their job, and did it well. The strip itself is very flexible and has small notches to make it more pliable. It’s a bit small than the usual pore strips I have used in the past, but it’s a good size. I left it on for about 10 minutes and waited for the strip to feel hard. Once I removed the strip, I didn’t have any skin irritation and my nose felt smoother. Just from looking at the pore strip, I can tell that it did a great job at getting any junk and blackheads off of my nose.

The charcoal pore strips that I have used in the past, are the ones from Boscia that I have always bought at Sephora. They usually retailed about $12 for 6 strips. I didn’t find any big difference between the Boscia and the Biore strips. Only size since the Boscia ones are longer in length. Other than that, the strips both did what they are meant to do, and one (Biore) are better in a reasonable price range.

I’m happy that I can now buy charcoal pore strips right across that street at the drugstore.

Biore Charcoal Pore Strips retail for $6.99 and be found at Ulta, CVS, and other various retail stores.

Let me know if you have tried these!

  1. I've used the "Original" Biore strips and can only imagine this will only be better with the addition of charcoal.
