Current Skin Care Favorites

December 3, 2014

Today I am talking about my current favorite skin care products. There are a few days where I might change it up, but these have been my go-to products that my skin has been loving. Just so you know, I have dry and sensitive skin. Probably more dry now that the weather has been colder. Also I am sensitive to certain fragrances that can trigger my allergies, so I always need to use products with little to no fragrance. Find out more on my favorite products..

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant ($52) - This is one of the best and most gentle exfoliants I’ve used. I use this every other day and I can feel my skin smoother and looks brighter. Using an exfoliant is important for me since I want to get rid of any dry skin that is just sitting on top of my skin. I have done a full review of this, which you can see here.

Laneige Water Bank Serum ($35) - This is a 24 hour ultra hydrating serum infused with skin perfecting optimal mineral water. I like to use this serum which gives me enough hydration without an extra moisturizer. The dryness of my skin almost instantly goes away and my skin looks great all day. This can be used for all skin types.

Laneige Perfect Renew Firming Eye Cream ($47) - I didn’t really use an eye cream until I recieved this one. I only need a few dabs of this for each eye and I massage it in with my ring fingers. My skin even knows when I don’t use this. My concealer and makeup will look dry and cakey if I skip this so it’s been needed on a daily basis. I can tell this will last me a long time since I don’t need a lot of the product.

Simple Eye Makeup Remover Pads ($4.99) - Even though I use makeup wipes for my face, I use these to take off my eye makeup and they work so well. I don’t have to worry about them being irritating because they don’t have any fragrance and no harsh chemicals. These will remove waterproof mascara and no need to rub your eyes really hard. These pads are gentle and leave no greasy residue.

Lumene Sensitive Touch Gentle Cleansing Wipes ($6.99)- I go through a lot of makeup wipes, so I have tried many different brands. I just recently tried these from Lumene, but they are already a favorite. These are alcohol free cleansing wipes that remove all makeup quickly and easily. These also work great for lips and are for sensitive/all skin types.

Let me know if you have tried any of these products yourself!
