Today I have swatches of a holiday set from L.A. Colors that I recently picked up from Rite-Aid. This is not a new set, but it’s back for the holidays. The set comes with 6 L.A. Colors Chunky Lip Pencils. I haven’t tried them before, so it’s a good value to try them out. See swatches below!

I wish the set came with more darker or neutral shades, since there are quite a few pink shades. The pencils themselves were pigmented and the colors showed up on the lips really well. I found the lip pencils to be a little bit on the dry side, so I definitely needed to apply a lip balm before wearing to make them more comfortable. The neutral shade and the red shades were my favorite. The first two pinks were hard for me to pull off, but the bright pink color was nice. The pencils lasted for hours until I needed to reapply. For the price, this set is great to starter gift for someone wanting to get into makeup more and try more lip shades.
