I have been using a sample of Benefit They're Real! mascara and I now understand why people are loving this mascara. I received this sample in a Sephora order a while ago and I have kept this in my makeup bag since I got it. I used it for weeks straight, then I needed to try out other mascaras so I stopped. Now I went back to it and can see why I always reach for it. Find out more below!
I love this mascara. The brush makes it easy to separate the lashes as you are applying so they don't clump together. The formula is more on the wet side, but not to the point where it's too wet and hard to work with. I prefer a drier mascara for my lashes since they will usually lose the curl if it's too wet. This mascara though dries quickly and really well so there is no worry about smudging or flaking.
There are more things to love about this mascara. It adds length and keeps my lashes curled all day! One of the few mascaras that will keep my lashes exactly how I want them until the end of the day.
Buy the full size? Pretty obvious, but yes! Actually I already have bought a full size, I'm just waiting to use up the sample and then I will open it. If you haven't tried it, they have a smaller size (like this one) at Sephora for half the price of the full size to try. Full size retails for $23.00
