As soon as I swatched the top row in this palette, I thought this is not going to be what I expected. I guess because the top row didn't show up too well on my skin tone. Once I kept swatching the rest, then my excitement was back and I knew this purchase was a good one. The shadows are pigmented and not chalky at all. All of the shadows were swatched on bare skin with no primer. Pretty impressive for having nothing underneath, and still impressive when they do have a base. I tried these with a white base and the colors just pop way more than they already do.
I have to say that mostly all of the shadows are amazing quality and are my favorites. The only two I wasn't too impressed on were Apricot Flower and Passion Fruit. Of course they looked different on my eyes versus on my arm. On my eyes they are a good base color to start with and then you can build from there.
I don't have any shadows like these in my collection already, which makes this purchase so worth it. This is actually my first Sigma palette and the eye shadows are awesome quality and overall the pricing is quite reasonable for what you are getting.
Sigma Beauty Creme de Couture Eye Shadow Palette retails for $32.00 and can be found online.
Recommend? Yes! I personally love this palette and it gives me something new to try out and play with more color.
Let me know what you think of this palette!
