Revlon ColorStay Suede Lip Colors (2 Shades) - Swatches and Review

November 13, 2012

A new lip product from Revlon has recently came out and I found them at my local Walgreens. From the hype of Revlon lip butters, I almost wanted to pounce the whole display and buy them all. Instead, I decided to only get two and see how I would like them first. Glad I did because they.. well.. you will read below in my review.

Revlon ColorStay Suede Lip Colors in Iconic and backstage
My lips are starting to dry out with the weather getting colder, so I need a lip product to be moisturizing and comfortable on the lips. These just didn't seem to do that for me. When I first put Iconic on, it felt smooth and slick when applying. Once I had it on for about 20 minutes, my lips felt super dried out. I applied a lip balm over it and moved on with my day. The balm seemed to disappear and my lips were again dry.The color did last though! Through eating and drinking, my lip color was still on and in tact.

I can't get passed the drying feeling! You can definitely put a lip balm or gloss over them but personally for me, I don't want to do that every time I feel like wearing one of the these. I would pass if you haven't had a chance to buy them.

Revlon ColorStay Suede Lip Colors retail for $9.99.

Let me know what you think! I hope this review was helpful!
