Stila Cosmetics Convertible Color in Gerbera - Swatch and Review

March 27, 2012

I haven't used too much of Stila Cosmetics, but this Convertible Color that I got recently seems to be a new favorite of mine. This is a dual lip and cheek cream and comes in 9 different colors. I don't use a lot of cream blush, so I was already thinking this product was not going to be much use to me. Now that I have used it, I have completely changed my mind about cream blush.

Here is some more info on this Stila product:
Stila's ingenious lipstick and blush-in-one proves to be irresistible. This versatile favorite brightens cheeks and lips with creamy, translucent color. Tap onto cheeks and press onto lips. The sheer tint adds an inherent glow to the cheeks while lips bloom with fresh, radiant color.

My Review:
I first used this color on my lips by dabbing it. I have to say that it wasn't as comfortable as I thought it would be. The color was also a bit too light for my skin tone. Maybe if it was a different color I would of liked it more on my lips. Once I tried this on my cheeks, it gave life to my face! I use a light sheer powder blush which is always my to-go blush, so I decided to put this on over to see how different it would look. It gave amazing color to my cheeks and was really easy to blend. The color even lasted all day long which I loved.

This Convertible Color retails for $25, which might seem a bit pricey, but I definitely think it's worth it. I would even buy more colors to have in my makeup collection. This is the winner of Best Cream Blush by In Style Best Beauty Buys 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. That must say something right? Try it out next time your at Sephora, you might love it.
