I recently stopped by Sephora and I had been wanting a few of their #Lipstories Lipsticks which are are so pigmented and have the cutest packaging. I picked up three shades that are more on the neutral side and they are each from the three finishes: matte, satin, and metallic. I decided to go with shades I knew I would wear on a daily basis. The SEPHORA Collection #Lipstories Lipsticks ($8 each) come in a cardboard packaging that is pretty sturdy and I haven't has any trouble with them. The lipsticks themselves all have a hashtag with what finish they are which is a nice detail. The shades I have are: Brunch date, Tan lines, and Take a spin.
You can expect a lot of pigment from these lipsticks and they are quite comfortable on the lips. The matte shade Brunch date did not dry out my lips like other mattes have and it stayed put for a good 3-4 hours. Tan lines is my favorite of the three since I usually go for lipsticks with a satin type of finish. The shade Take a spin is also really gorgeous and looks great on its own or layered over the other two.
There are 40 shades available right now and they range from a true white, reds, neutrals, purples, pinks, blue, green, and more. You will definitely find a shade you will love and the packaging is just an awesome bonus.
