Urban Decay Blackmail Vice Lipstick Palette - Swatches and Review

September 16, 2016

There are so many new makeup sets coming out for the holidays, and this lipstick palette from Urban Decay is a great value. It comes with 12 lipstick shades that range from neutrals and picks, to darks and reds. I don't own too many of the new UD lipsticks, so this is a great way to try out a bunch and I will get use out of all the shades. Find out more about this palette below!

Shades Included:
Sheer Shame (Sheer) berry
Firebird (Cream) deep fuchsia
Big Bang (Metallized) bright pink sparkle
Disobedient (Cream) medium pink
EZ (Cream) bright red-orange
714 (Mega Matte) bright red
Vanished (Sheer) pale neutral nude
1993 (Comfort Matte) medium brown
Ex-Girlfriend (Sheer Shimmer) nude-rose w/pink shimmer
Amulet (Metallized) metallic brick rose
Conspiracy (Metallized) plum-bronze shimmer
Blackmail (Comfort Matte) deep berry wine

The lipsticks are pigmented, creamy, and I really love all of the shades. You get a good mix of mattes, creams, shimmers, and metallics. Even the sheer shades are great for layering over other colors and wearing on their own. The palette has a big mirror and a small retractable lip brush. The brush helps to apply the lipsticks evenly and more precise.

A few of my favorite shades from the palette are: Firebird, Disobedient, 714, Vanished, Ex-Girlfriend, Amulet, and Blackmail. The packaging is sturdy and nice, it does get a lot of smudges and fingerprints on it though. It also comes with a lipstick cover that says "lipstick is my vice". There is another palette like this one that is a Sephora exclusive, while this one is an Ulta exclusive. I prefer this palette just because I would use these shades more often. It's going to be personal preference on which one you are wanting.

Urban Decay Blackmail Vice Lipstick Palette retails for $35 and can be found exclusively at Ulta and on the Ulta website. This is limited edition.
