I love doing my nails at home and I actually prefer to since I can use products I love and that work the best. Today I'm going to share the steps I take to keep my nails strong and healthy. I picked up the products I'm using at my local Target store. It's so easy to take care of your nails at home which will help them grow faster, longer, and more importantly, stronger. See more below!

My nails were ready for some care so I was happy to get them looking better. I first file my nails to make them more even and to make sure they have a better shape to them. Since I usually keep my nails with a short/medium length, I like to stay with my natural nail shape.

My second step, I use the Sally Hansen Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil. My cuticles can get really dry, so this is really moisturizing and helps them to feel more conditioned. It has Natural Essential Oil Complex with Vitamin E, Wheat Germ, Apricot Kernel, Aloe & Panthenol.

The last step I do is use the Sally Hansen Complete Care 7-in-1 Nail Treatment. I love this product because it is everything you need for your nails all in one. It is a base coat, top coat, growth treatment, strengthener, ridge-filler, brightener, and ultra-moisturizing nail treatment. The shine can stay on your nails for up to 10 days!

Here are some before and after pics of my nails. In the before pic, you can see my nails look dull, dry, and different lengths. For the after pic, my nails are much more moisturized, shiny, and healthy. Let me know how you take care of your nails at home!

  1. Those products look amazing! I usually have a strengthener since my nails are very brittle and I always need cuticle oil. I paint my nails every other day so nail care is very important!
