Now when it comes to concealer, I can definitely say there are great drugstore options that are comparable to the higher end ones out there. It just depends on what kind of coverage you're looking for and the kind of finish you want. This UD Concealer has a larger doe foot applicator, making it easy to use where ever you are wanting coverage. I picked up the shade 40 NN. The formula is lightweight for being a full coverage concealer which I also really like. A bonus is that it is waterproof, which can be hard to find in a product like this. I definitely can tell a difference when I make sure to prep my skin vs. when I just want to use it alone. My skin appreciates the prep first and it helps to keep the concealer from clinging to dry spots. I also like to work with this in small areas at a time. I apply it, blend, and move on to the next area. The formula will dry down quick, so this is the best method.
The Urban Decay 24HR Full-Coverage Waterproof Concealer ($33) is worth the high price if you are looking for something hydrating, lightweight and long lasting. The brush on the end is soft and I do use it from time to time, but I also like using a smaller brush when working with a concealer. So I only use the brush when I'm using the concealer as an all over product. You can find this at Sephora, Ulta, and other retail stores.
