The Benefit Cosmetics Cookie Powder Highlighter ($35) is a soft gold shimmer and will give a beautiful shine that is buildable. The shimmer is not overly chunky and is very easy to apply. I always recommend this to those that are starting out with makeup and don't want a product that is difficult to work with. The lasting power on this is great, I've had it last hours and can still see it on. I like to use it on my cheekbones and on the inner corners of my eyes. Even as an quick eyeshadow it works well too.
I currently have the original Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer ($35) but it now comes in 4 different shades. I love that they have expanded the line of bronzers to fit different skin tones. There is Hoola Light, Hoola, Hoola Caramel and Hoola Toasted. The original Hoola shade works out the best for my light/medium skin tone. I also prefer a bronzer that is matte so this is great. There are other budget friendly bronzer/highlighter options out there but these are going to have lasting power and good quality making them worth the price.
