My Top 4 Concealers for Those With Dry Skin

April 30, 2020

Today I'm sharing my top 4 concealers that work well for me and my dry skin. These are the types of concealers that give me the right amount of coverage I'm looking for without being overly heavy or cakey. I'm sure there are so many other concealers out there that work for dry skin, so this post is just sharing what works for me and what might work for you. The four concealer brands I have are: Morphe, PUR, Kevyn Aucoin, and Urban Decay which can be found at Ulta. I will show what each applicator looks like and why these work so well for me.

In no particular order, I'm starting with the Morphe Fluidity Full Coverage Concealer ($10). I use the shade C2.15 which is a light medium with slightly peach undertones. I love this concealer because of the nice full coverage, it's lightweight and it lasts all day. It is sweat proof, transfer resistant and water resistant. I don't use a lot of Morphe products, but this is one I tend to always repurchase when I run out. I also love that it is fragrance free and you can't forget about that great price point. (Purchased by me)

Next up is the PUR Cosmetics Love Your Selfie Longwear Foundation and Concealer ($36). So this product does do more than concealing but I'm always using it to conceal under my eyes. It has a medium to full coverage and I use the shade MN5. It does feel a bit heavier than the Morphe and other that I will mention, but I know that because you can use this as a foundation too. I still appreciate the coverage it gives while providing a smoothness under the eyes. I don't find it to cling to dryness or look cakey at all. If you are looking for a concealer that can do its job and more, then this would be it. (Press sample)

Onto another concealer I love which is the Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Super Natural Concealer ($30). The one I use is a corrector shade in medium and it provides the right amount of medium coverage while still feeling lightweight. It reflects light to offset the appearance of dark circles and discoloration. This corrector comes in a apricot peach shade which is universal and helps the darkness under the eyes. It's so easy to blend/apply and I love the way it looks on my skin. (Press sample)

My last top concealer for dry skin is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Concealer ($29). This concealer has a demi-matte finish which works well for a lot of skin types. I use the shade Light Neutral and it does feel absolutely weightless on the skin. I love how it blends out with ease and the applicator makes it easy to apply where needed. I believe that Urban Decay is replacing this concealer so I am definitely sad to see it go. I will have to stock up or count on my other faves that work out well for me. (Purchased by me)

Let me know what concealer works for you
or if you have tried any of these
