Swatches and Review: COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation

February 18, 2020

A new product from COVERGIRL is the Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation. It is a lightweight nourishing liquid foundation that is made to give skin a moisture boost with milky coconut and soothing aloe. The foundation ends up having dewy finish to it and also blurs out imperfections. I tested out the shade Light/Medium which worked out the best for me. There are 15 shades in the entire collection and I have swatches of 12. Find out more info and my thoughts on this foundation below.

So the COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation ($9.99) comes in a squeeze tube packaging that is easy to use. I would definitely make sure to shake it up a bit before using, just so that the product comes out more even. I do love that it is a clean product, meaning there are no Parabens, Sulfates or Phthalates. The product is also 100% vegan which is another plus.

With this foundation you are getting light coverage but it is definitely buildable with no trouble. You won't achieve a full coverage product, but it does indeed hide imperfections well as it claims. I found it worked best for my dry/sensitive skin everyday that I used it. Sometimes certain foundations can enhance my dry areas and make them flaky or just more noticeable. With this foundation, it definitely helped my skin throughout the day to look more moisturized and have a healthy, natural glow. This is made for all skin types so those with oily skin might find it to still work out great. I was really pleased with the result of this foundation and it has been my go-to since being able to try it out. For a drugstore foundation, I am really pleased with how this looks on the skin and can see this working out great in the summer months.
