Nomad Cosmetics Surf Shack Eyeshadow Palettes - Swatches

February 7, 2020

Nomad Cosmetics has recently launched a collection of eyeshadow palettes that are inspired by the California surf shacks, bungalows, trailers and inns. They are minimalistic and hand-crafted with a chill vibe. Malibu and Encintas are the surf towns that inspired the palettes. One is more on the bright side and the other has more vintage looking shades. The packaging is so pretty and I love how simple yet detailed they are. See swatches and more info below.

Story of Malibu: A pioneer of California surf culture, Malibu is an electric mix of free spirits and pop-culture icons all living the storied SoCal surfer life. The Nomad Cosmetics Malibu Surf Shack Palette harks back to the Malibu surfing scene of the 50s.

This palette has more neutral and lighter shades that can be incorporated in many different looks. The eyeshadows infused with CBD oil making them so buttery soft. I found them to be pigmented and are easy to layer.

Story of Encinitas: Laid back and friendly, Encinitas is a surf town filled with good vibes and great waves. The more colorful Encinitas Surf Shack Palette reflects the extroverted yet mellow vibe of this town.

I really enjoy the shades of this eyeshadow palette. There is a pop of blue with some gorgeous pink and brown shades. All of the shadows are super pigmented and apply with ease. All of the eyeshadows are gorgeous, but the matte shades like Carve are so amazing. They feel so smooth and are not chalky at all. I definitely recommend both of these eyeshadow palettes. I think they are also perfect for travel since they have just enough shades and a mirror inside.
