Pur Cosmetics 4-in-1 Love Your Selfie Foundation and Concealer - Review

May 7, 2019

Today I have a review of the new Pur Cosmetics Love Your Selfie Foundation and Concealer that a lot of people seem to be interested in. There has been a lot of talk over this product and that's mostly because Pur Cosmetics decided to launch 100 shades of this foundation. 100 shades! I think that is amazing and Pur has really made a product that works. Find out more below and my thoughts on this product.

The Pur Cosmetics 4-in-1 Love Your Selfie Foundation and Concealer ($36) comes with a pump AND a doe foot applicator which I think is a great idea. You can use the applicator for concealer and the pump for your foundation. It definitely gives a medium to full coverage depending on how much you use. It has a lot of great ingredients and nutrients in it to keep skin looking its best. There are cool, neutral and warm undertones to choose from and they are all vegan-friendly shades.

I have been using this foundation & concealer before it even officially launched and I have to say that it is an amazing product. It really covers imperfections while still making my skin look natural and still like me. I only had one downfall and that was I had picked the wrong shade for my skin. This is MN1 which is Ivory Beige and it is too light for my skin. I made it work when I was testing it but I definitely need a darker shade for everyday. I have ordered a darker shade (still in the same medium neutral range) and will add pics to this post once I get that shade. Okay so back to the review.

The packaging is nice and I love the pump and doe foot applicator. I used the brush that Pur decided to launch with the foundation. It has a smooth silicone center where you put the foundation and synthetic bristles to blend everything out. I found it difficult to use and it made the process of my makeup routine more messy. I didn't like it and ended up using a favorite brush that I always use for my foundation. I think the silicone part of the brush is too far down and it made my foundation patchy and not fully blended. I say skip the brush because you can use any tool you are comfortable with.

Overall, I love the foundation and would definitely recommend it to everyone. I have dry/sensitive skin and it looks flawless. I didn't have any dry patches and the foundation did not look caked on at all. It gave a nice, natural look while still have the right amount of coverage.

Let me know what you think!
