Urban Decay Disco Queen Collection: Info + Swatches

March 9, 2018

Urban Decay has taken highlighting to another level with the new Disco Queen Collection. There are two holographic products to try and both can be worn on their own or layered for a more intense effect. There is Holographic Disco Stick and Disco Queen Holographic Highlight Powder. Both products create an iridescent sheen that looks great on any skin tone. Find out more and see swatches below.

The Holographic Disco Stick ($26) has a pink-blue shift and creates a gorgeous glow on the skin. The formula is lightweight and glides on with ease. I tend to use the Holographic Stick more because I have dry skin and I like how it has a subtle glow and highlight. It still allows your skin to show through since it does have a translucent sparkle to it.

The other half of the UD Disco Queen Collection is the Holographic Highlight Powder ($29). The powder is a translucent, iridescent lavender with blue holographic shift. The formula makes the powder feel so silky and it is definitely easy to layer up if you are wanting more glow. When you are wanting a true duochrome finish, go with the highlight powder. It looks so pretty on the skin.

Swatches are hard to capture in photos of these 2 products, but you can see how the highlight powder is more pigmented vs. the highlight stick. Both are lovely and have the right amount of glowy sheen to them.

Urban Decay Disco Queen Collection is available exclusively at Sephora and Urban Decay stores. Also online at Sephora.com
