Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Eyeshadow Palette - Swatches and Review

May 8, 2017

Today I have a closer look at the Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Eyeshadow Palette. If you haven't heard of Pretty Vulgar, they are a new brand at Sephora that consists of beautiful packaging and highly pigmented products. I picked up one of the three eyeshadow palettes they have called Nightingale, which has more dark and smokey shades. Find out more and see swatches below!

The Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Eyeshadow Palette comes with 12 shadows. They are:
Nocturnal (ivory matte)
Pillow Fight (champagne satin)
Break Free (shimmering white)
Darkside (shimmering smoke satin)
Hide & Seek (light gray matte)
Clutch (rose gold shimmer)
Flip Out (chocolate brown matte)
Eye Spy (bronze satin)
Silver Spoon (blue slate satin)
Swoop (cool brown matte)
After Midnight (deep gray matte)
All Nighter (black brown matte)

All of the eyeshadows are really pigmented and the packaging is nice and sturdy. It's a cardboard packaging with a mirror and magnetic closing on the inside. I picked up this palette since I don't have one that has dark and smokey shades. I'm really happy with how the shadows performed on the lids and they lasted really well with a good eyeshadow primer.

I didn't really find any flaws with this palette, the only thing was the shadows do get a bit messy in the palette. It's easy to clean up though, so it's not a huge deal. All of the palette is great but a few standout shades are: Break Free, Darkside, Clutch, Eye Spy, Silver Spoon and Swoop. If you are looking for dark neutral shadows, you will not be disappointed if you pick up this palette.

Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Eyeshadow Palette retails for $35 and can be found on Sephora's website and soon in stores.
