Maybelline Master Strobing Stick Illuminating Highlighter - Swatch and Review

August 10, 2016

Today I have a review of the Maybelline Illuminating Highlighter in the shade Light-Iridescent. I bought this weeks ago on the Ulta website when there are a sale. I only have high end highlighters, so I wanted to try one that is drugstore and would still be good quality. I ended up really loving this highlight and the way it gave a beautiful glow without looking glittery. I have a swatch and more info below!

More information about the Maybelline Master Strobing Stick Illuminating Highlighter:
Adds dimension and enhances features. The lightweight, creamy texture and micro-fine pearls combine to boost skin glow for a targeted highlight. Easy application - just swipe and blend!

I love many things about this illuminating highlighter. The first is the packaging and how easy it is to apply on the face since it is in a stick form. It makes it quick to use and I can apply it on the tops of my cheekbones and the inner corners of my eyes. This is a cream highlight, so this is perfect for hot days and when I want my highlighter to stay in place all day. To blend it in, all I do is use my fingers which I find to work the best.

The formula is amazing and gives the right amount of glow and glisten while not having any kind of chunky glitter in it. Even since I first used this, I haven't stopped including it in my everyday makeup routine. The lasting power is great with this, since I have worn it all day without any problems. If you are looking for a drugstore highlighter that has a good formula, I would definitely recommend this one.

Maybelline Master Strobing Stick Illuminating Highlighter retails for $9.99 and can be found at Ulta, CVS, Target, and other retail stores.

Let me know what you think!
