Covergirl truBlend Face Primer Dry Skin - Review

January 11, 2016

Today I have a review of one of the newest face primers from Covergirl. This is part of the truBlend line and there are 3 different primers: oily, dry, and combo. It's great that there are different primers so that you can choose which one if best for your skin. I ended up with the one for dry skin since I need hydration all day long. Find out if this primer is worth buying below!

More information about the Covergirl truBlend Primer:
COVERGIRL'S truBLEND Primer truBLEND primer works with your skin type — dry, oily or combo — to smoothly perfect your skin prior to foundation application. Primer extends the wear of foundation and preps skin for smooth application.

Using face primer is important since it helps to keep makeup in place and to last all day long. I have dry skin and this really helped keep my face hydrated and never oily. The formula is creamy, non-greasy, and light enough that it sinks into the skin quickly. I really love this primer and how well it works. My makeup lasted all day long and you only need to use a small amount. I can't comment on the other two face primers, but this one for dry skin is great and I definitely recommend it since it's a quality drugstore product at a good price.

Covergirl truBlend Face Primer retails for $8.99 and can be found at Walgreens, CVS, and other retail stores.

  1. I tried some of my cousins the other day of this BB cream, it was really nice. It's quite good for only 8.99!
