Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Longwear Nail Enamel in Showtime - Swatches and Review

June 30, 2014

Today I have a review on the Revlon Gel Envy nail polish in Showtime. I ended up buying the top coat as well, since that they need to be used together to get the best result. Find out more on how long my mani lasted and more info below!

More information on the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Nail Enamels:
Create salon-quality color in 30 vibrant shades with our revolutionary 2-step system. Brush on the base + color in one, and then finish with the protective ColorStay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat™ for superior strength. Together, they create vivid color, brilliant shine and gorgeous life-resistant wear.

The nail polish applied nicely and I used two coats which was enough for it to be opaque. Then I applied the diamond top coat and it dried pretty quickly. My mani stayed for a full week without any chipping. It probably could of lasted longer, but I had crazy growth and I had to take the polish off. I tried the polish on its own without the top coat after to see if it was really necessary to buy. I had more chipping, not a lot but there was some when I wore the polish without. I’m sure you can try to use a different top coat, but I feel like you do get the best results with the Revlon diamond. I would definitely buy more shades of these, and now I only have to buy colors since I already own the top coat.

Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Longwear Nail Enamels retail for $7.99 and can be found at CVS, Walgreens, Ulta, and other retail stores.

Have you tried Revlon Gel Envy Nail Polishes?
