Today I have photos and a review of the January Beauty Box 5. This month’s box theme is Cheers To You! to celebrate the new you for the new year. Whenever I receive a Beauty Box 5, the products in the box are always things that I use on a daily basis even now. Find out more about what was in this month’s box below!
Jergens Daily Moisturizer - Fight fought spots and ashy knees with this silky everyday moisturizer that will keep your skin hydrated all day long. I know a lot of people love this moisturizer and now I know why. It has a great citrus smell and is not greasy at all. My skin stayed hydrated throughout the day and I had no trouble with being allergic to it.
Epic Blend Hemp Coconut Lip Balm - Keep this organic balm in your purse for kissable lips. Also, it’s gluten and petroleum free, non-GMO and not tested on animals. This is a great lip balm. I love that it’s organic and it smells so good, just like coconut.
Nubar Cuticle and Nail Oil - A healthy jojoba oil elixir that comes in cute candy colors. Sooth inflamed skin and psoriasis by gently massaging a small amount around your nails. This was a good cuticle oil. The one I received was the grapefruit oil and it did keep my cuticles hydrated and nice all day. I know that this is just a sample, but I was surprised at how hard the brush was inside. It was not soft and made applying the oil not that great. The oil itself is good, I just didn’t like the brush at all.
H20 Plus Spa Sea Lotus Body Wash - Made with mineral-rich red alga, aloe extract, and Vitamin E, this refreshing body wash boasts crisp notes of aquatic florals and sea grass. This is a good body wash that smells fresh and lathers up well. I always like getting body wash samples because I can try different ones and they will always get used up.
Swissco Bath and Shower Exfoliating Gloves - These gloves let you rub away dead skin in hard to reach places to leave you soft and smooth all over. Just slip them on in the shower, pour your favorite body wash, and gently buff. Afterward, rinse and hang dry. These are amazing to have right now. My skin has been dry and patchy lately because it’s been cold and hot here. I used these and they made my skin so soft! My skin in sensitive so I was worried that they would be too rough, but they weren’t. They worked out great and I can use them again which is nice.
Bonus product: That Awkward Moment Mirror Compact - This is for a new movie that's going to come out at the end of this month. Compact mirrors always come in handy and I can throw it in my purse and not worry about the mirror since it's covered.
