NYC Rooftop Party Collection Sweet Splash Gloss Sticks (All Shades) - Swatches and Review

June 4, 2013

NYC has came out with these new gloss sticks and I just had to try them. I love any kind of lip product that comes in a jumbo pencil type packaging so I knew these had to be just as good. I bought all three shades called: Mango Punch, Pink Spark, and Revived Berry. These are in the new Rooftop Party Collection and I spotted these at CVS. See more photos and my review below!

This is the gloss stick all the way twisted up to show how much you get.

Smell: To me they have a fruity smell. Almost like fruit punch or strawberry.

Application: They are quite sheer but I expected that since they are supposed to be like a gloss. Even though they are sheer, they still gave color to my lips even the lightest color I was able to see. They are smooth to apply and feels like your putting on a regular gloss. These are not sticky at all which makes them really comfortable on the lips. Wear time for me was okay. It lasted for about 3 hours and then I needed to reapply. Pink Spark and Revived Berry were still on my lips but Mango Punch was mostly gone.

Another good thing was that they are moisturizing. I didn't have any problem with these gloss sticks making my lips dry or unbearable to wear. These are probably one of my favorite jumbo lip pencil products for being on the affordable side.

I really liked these and the way they felt and looked on the lips. This is definitely product that I would buy again or if NYC came out with other colors.

NYC Rooftop Party Collection Sweet Splash Gloss Sticks retail for $3.99 each and can be found where NYC is sold.

Let me know if you would try these!

  1. Ooh, I want to try these! Revived Berry is really pretty and these look like they would be great for a subtle lip color.
