Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation (Shade 832) - Review

March 14, 2013

Today I finally have my review of the newest Covergirl foundation. This is an all-in-one foundation with a long-lasting formula that has primer, concealer, and foundation. The 3-in-1 formula is supposed to provide a flawless look that lasts all day long. So what did I think of this foundation? See my review below!

Left: No Makeup just moisturizer  Right: Foundation applied.

My Review:
Before I start the review, keep in mind that I have dry and sensitive skin. If you have oily skin, take a look at G.'s review over at Nouveau Cheap. Now into the review! :)

Let me first start with the packaging. One of the best packaging on a foundation. I love the glass bottle to give it some weight. I more love the fact tht it has a pump. Yes! Every foundation I end up liking never has a pump and it's frustrating. Examples of some were Maybelline FIT Me and Revlon Barely Naked Foundation. You just get way too much product when having to pour it out. So the pump is a definite plus. If you are wondering about the scent, it just smells light and slightly fresh which is nice.

I use a flat top foundation brush which helps blend the foundation with ease. This claims to be your primer, concealer, and foundation all in one. I never use a primer but I always make sure to use a moisturizer. As you being my concealer, it could be since it gives me coverage but I prefer more. So I use my own concealer under. In the picture above I did not use concealer, just the foundation in case your wondering.

For it being a foundation, it's amazing! It gives the right amount of coverage and it will last all day. I have a small patch of hyper-pigmentation on my cheek and the foundation covers it completely. I don't set this foundation with powder because with dry skin I try avoiding powders. It's already getting hot here in LA and even being sweaty (I know, awful) this foundation didn't budge. It has SPF 20 which benefits me a lot since the sun it out all day.

This has been my favorite foundation since buying it. I definitely recommend trying it out and seeing it if works for you!

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation retails for $9.79 and can be found at Target, Walmart and where Covergirl is sold.

Let me know what you think!

  1. I am really interested in trying out this foundation but HORRIBLE at matching myself without trying the product. I was debating between 825 and 832 but couldn't really see a major difference. Have you noticed any oxidation and what would be your recommendation for an NC25?

  2. I haven't noticed any oxidation with this foundation. For NC25 I would recommend 832 which is the shade I use. I have 832 and that one is just slightly warmer. I hope that helps, let me know how it goes! :)
