MAC Archie's Girls Pearlmatte Face Powder (Both Shades) - Photos and Review

February 9, 2013

I hauled some products from the MAC Archie's Girls collection and thought I would tell you my thoughts. It was hard for me to get swatches of these, so I didn't end up including swatches. Just showing product photos and my review. I wasn't going to buy anything from this collection, but the shades are beautiful and I couldn't resist. See more of the Pearlmatte Face Powders below!

MAC Archie's Girls Pearlmatte Face Powder in Veronica's Blush

More information on these from the MAC website:
Love is in the details with all-new Pearlmatte Face Powder combining pearlized and satin shades to achieve an array of looks. Hearts are adorably stamped onto the base. Effortlessly blends with a rich and creamy texture. Use for highlighting and blush effects or as an eye shadow with a velvet-smooth finish.

I love these face powders because they are so versatile. I blend it all together on my brush and use it as a cheek highlight. They are smooth and easy to blend. You don't have to worry about these being too shimmery either which I love. They just give a nice sheen without looking overly shiny. I use Flatter Me with more earthy eyeshadow shades and Veronica's Blush when I use brighter colors on the eyes. They are sheer since I could hardly get any swatches of them. These are my favorites from the collection.

MAC Archie's Girls Pearlmatte Face Powder retail for $30 each and can be found at MAC online or in stores.

Flatter Me or Veronica's Blush? Which would you choose?

  1. Aren't those cute?! I'd choose Veronica's blush only because I have a lot of peach, coral, and natural colors of blush already and really not much pink. I think the lightest color in it would be good for highlighting too.

  2. I purchased Betty and I love it. I just purchased Veronica's a few days ago though.
