This is one palette that I was not really sure if I needed or not. Urban Decay Naked Basics has 6 matte eyeshadows and the palette fits mostly in the palm of your hand. When I first opened it I thought, this palette is way too small. After actually using it and being able to have it my purse, it was convenient. Is this a must have palette? Find out in my review below!
The Naked Basics palette includes:
VENUS – soft, off-white demi-matte
FOXY – very light yellow/beige matte
WALK OF SHAME – very light pinky nude matte
NAKED2 – rosy taupe matte
FAINT – warm, dusty brown matte
CRAVE – deepest, darkest brown/black matte
Naked Basics includes four totally new and exclusive shades, one shade previously only
available in another palette and one all-time staff favorite. Each Eyeshadow features the brands
new Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade its
velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability.
My Review:
I have been using this palette everyday since I've had it. I love the colors and matte eyeshadows can be used a lot. I own a few matte shadows, but this is more convenient to have them all in one place. They are some of the best shadows I have used, easy to work with and super soft. This kind of palette depends on if you really need it or not. Some people might already have matte eyeshadows or too many neutrals, so you can pass on this. For me, I do not regret this purchase at all. I love it!
I wanted to share the love I have for this palette by giving one away! This giveaway is U.S. only! Enter below and good luck! :)

Would you believe that the only Urban Decay product that I own is an old and very- well used pan of Grifter? I keep it for going-out nights (far and few between!) sparkle! I could never afford the Naked1 and 2 palettes, but I actually like this one better. You see, I'm one of your older readers and nowadays, I tend to keep things low-key with more matte neutrals. This seems to keep things softer around my eyes, while still accentuating them. Naked Basics is pretty much my dream palette come true! Thank you so much for offering the chance to win one, Stephanie, and I hope 2013 is a happier one than my has started out as being.
