N.Y.C. High Definition Liquid Eyeliner - Photos and Review

January 7, 2013

I've already found a great liquid eyeliner, but I wanted to see if this one from N.Y.C. could be any better or just as good than the one I currently use.  I wasn't sure if this eyeliner could hold up to all the claims. Did it? See my review below!

More about this eyeliner on the N.Y.C. website:
THE ULTIMATE MISTAKE-PROOF APPLICATION! With NYC’s High Definition Liquid Liner you can forget those messy traditional liquid formulas that require a steady hand. The chic, liquid pen delivers smooth, fast-drying results whether you want a super-thin modern line or a thick, full-blown retro cat-eye flick. And the formula is smudge-proof and long-lasting—up to 10 hours of wear!

The benefits of this eyeliner from N.Y.C.:
Ultra-fine felt tip liner
Creates precise line from soft to dramatic
Rich intense color
Smudge-proof
Long wearing up to 10 hours
Suitable for contact lens wearers
Opthalmology tested
There are two shades available in extra black and soft black. The design of the eyeliner is the only good things about this unfortunately. I love eyeliners that are like a pen since it makes it easier to apply and you can make the line thin or thick.
I bought extra black and it didn't seem to be that dark. I had to apply it over and over to make sure it was dark enough. The wear on this eyeliner was pretty bad. It lasted about 3 hours, and then I noticed some smudging and transferring on my eyelids. Once I cleaned it up, I needed to reapply for the rest of the day since some had came off. This was definitely not the greatest liquid eyeliner. I would pass on this one, since there are others out there better.

N.Y.C. High Definition Liquid Eyeliner retails for $3.99.

I hope this review was helpful!
