N.Y.C. Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer - Review

July 6, 2012

I saw this new N.Y.C. face primer and decided to try it out. I have many face primers but this one was so inexpensive, I thought maybe it would work just as good or better than the expensive primers. Every time I try N.Y.C. products, I always have a good experience, so I was hoping it would be the same for this one. If you want to see if I loved it or hated it, read more!

Here is more about the N.Y.C. Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer:
The NYC Color Primer comes in a sleek, handy tube pack that will fit in perfectly in any make-up bag. The formula inside is just as handy as it glides on evenly and easily on the skin.
NYC Color’s Primer instantly transforms even the most city-weary complexions, reviving dull looking skin and boosting radiance. It’s the ultimate accessory for your skin that’s perfect for all skin types.

Benefits:
Lines appear minimized
Imperfections, dark circles and enlarged pores are masked
With vitamin E which helps to protect against potential free radical damage
Enhances your skin’s smoothness and moisturization
Lasts all day

This primer was something that I now use on a daily basis. It gives your skin a nice sheen without being over shiny or shimmery. It moisturizes really well and helps my makeup last all day. I have dry skin and this made my skin so moisturized and felt soft, kind of like a lotion would do.
Now, it's not the best primer out there in makeup world, BUT it does the job it needs to and you can't go wrong with the price. I bought this for $3.99 at Target, which is an amazing price for a face primer. It kind of reminds me of the Hard Candy face primer which I really enjoy as well. If I had to pick one or the other, definitely N.Y.C. Just makes my face and makeup looks smoother and almost flawless.

Have you tried this primer? Let me know what you think!

  1. $3.99 is not a bad deal at all! Thanks for sharing this review, I've been searching for another drugstore primer since I'm all out of my Rimmel one!
