Drugstore Sundays #3: Favorite Lip Balms

November 6, 2011

Time for another Drugstore Sunday! I'm going to give a little insight on my favorite lip balms. I have so many lip balms that they need their own drawer in my makeup storage. That says how many lip products I can over purchase, so I do have some that are my favorites. Okay, let's get into each one.

1.) Nivea A Kiss of Shimmer Pearly Shimmer Lip Care - What really gets me about this lip balm, is the way it smells. It has this sweet, almost candy-like smell that is amazing. It glides on easy and feels soft on the lips. I also really enjoy the shimmer, sometimes I don't want to use a lip gloss/lipstick so this is the next best thing.

2.) Wet N Wild Juicy Lip Balm in Strawberry Fraise - I love how this one is so jumbo-sized, I feel like I can never run out. Of course it smells like strawberries, which I adore. It has SPF 15 and it's really moisturizing to my lips.

3.) Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Pink Punch - These lip balms from Maybelline are fairly new and I love them already. This particular one gives me a tint of pink to my lips and smells like fruit punch. I have this one in purse constantly. Another great thing about these: SPF 20! :)

4.) Covergirl NatureLuxe Gloss Balm in Grenache - I have a full review of this here, but I'm sure you know it's great. I need to actually remember to buy more colors of these.

5.) EOS Lip Balm in Lemon Drop -EOS lip balm has always been a favorite among beauty bloggers, and I am no different. I truly are great lip balms. I'm not going to say they are the best ever, but I like them. My all time fav is Sweet Mint, but I ran out. So my second favorite is Lemon Drop. I love the lemon smell and of course, the cute packaging.

What are your favorite drugstore lip balms?
