Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils Review and Swatches

May 4, 2011

These 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils instantly caught my eye when I was at Macy's recently. I did swatches of every single color and came to the conclusion that, I need them all. Every color. I didn't buy any when I was there, but believe that I WILL go back and get them all. I did do swatches of all of them on my hand while I was in the store and tested them out throughout the day. I tested them through water, rubbing, wiping, etc. Let's see how it went.
 Top: Wasteland
From Left to right straight row: Clinic, Narc, Lit, Sin, Barracuda, Delinquent, Morphine
Bottom 3: Clash, Rehab, Midnight Cowboy

Here is how they are described on the Urban Decay website:
Big and blendable, this 2-in-1 waterproof 24/7 shadow pencil keeps going as long as you do. Our next generation of famous 24/7 pencils can be used as eyeshadow, eyeliner, or both!

 My Review:
Right when I started swatching these on my hand, I noticed something right away. That they dry super fast! I try to take a couple off to make room for more, but by the time I did, they were not going anywhere. They are extremely budge-proof and smudge-proof. Every single color has intense pigmentation and are all amazing colors. Once I got home, I knew I had to try the water test. I run my hand in water and try to wipe off whatever will come off. None of the swatches were moving. Just as I expected from Urban Decay. These 24/7 Glide-On Shadow pencils are pure genius. The way I got them off was with an oil-based makeup remover. Took me a while, but they of course came off with not too big of a fuss. I'm definitely going back to get them all!

Have you tried these? What do you think?

♥ Stephanie
