Make Up For Ever HD Blush Review

March 5, 2010

Hi everyone! First off, need to apologize for not blogging as much as usual. I have been super busy with family, friends, and well basically life. But now that everything has been resolved, I'm back to blogging!
So here I am back with the Make Up For Ever HD blush review. Overall, this review is in-between. There is good and bad with this blush. I will get into that though.
I got #5 Nip Slip (Neutral Pink):

This blush is being called lip tars for the cheeks. It is extremely pigmented and you don't need a whole pump. Not even half, like 1/3. One bottle could probably last you a good long while. Seriously. Now that's pretty good because you don't have to keep buying the same color, it will last you. Now the downside, is that they are so pigmented, it can be a pain to put on. If you use too much, it looks ridiculous. Another down, is the price. $25 for a blush. I got mine at the show for $15, so I went for it. I don't know if I can really see myself buying more or even all for the price.

Now it's different if we are talking about this product for a makeup kit. I would definitely buy most of these to have in my kit for clients. My own personal makeup stash, probably not. So it just depends on what your buying them for, and what you really want from this blush.

So is it worth trying? Sure. Is it something you must have in your own makeup stash? Probably not a must.

Hope this helps most of you thinking about getting this product! =D

  1. hey stephanie thank you for your sharing, would love to see the swatch and the effect on your cheek ! :)

  2. wow! thats such a strange concept for a blush!! ive never seen it before!! usually theres like a cream blush or brush on or whatever, but this is like a lqiuid pump blush! STRANGE! looks like such a gorgeous colour!

  3. Thanks for the review. Looks like such a pretty color. Can you post a swatch pls?

  4. Ha it's funny you reviewed this because I *just* posted about them today too!!

  5. Thanks for the review? I'm curious to how many different shades there are and if there are nice shades that compliment darker skintones?

  6. Thank you..I was wondering hw the product would be..its good to read some reveiws before actually buying...:)

  7. Thats definitely an interesting product. Very pigmented. Do a FOTD with it!

  8. I'd also be interested in a swatch on your cheeks. Do you know if these are lip safe?

  9. I was really curious about this - I love the foundation, it lasts forever and the same amount I use for my whole face. I'm going to join in and say I'd love to see it on you!

  10. Whoever figures out how to best apply this, let me know. I've even tried more like 1/16" of a pump... the little bead on the tip if you just barely push the pump. The real pale pink is fine, but anything darker than that - can't blend that sucker in!

Love that my coining it "lip tars for cheeks" is catching on :-)

  11. This looks pretty good and pigmented! I have been hearing a lot about MUFE for a while now but I can't find any here in Melbourne, Australia!

I might have to get them online.
