Today I have a look at a few of the new e.l.f. Cosmetics Lip Plumping glosses. These are made to give a soothing sensation while it will volumize the lips. There are currently 5 shades to choose from and the shades I have are Champagne Glam and Mocha Twist. The glosses are enriched with Vitamin E and Coconut Oil to nourish and hydrate the lips. I am one to enjoy a nice shiny lip gloss, so I was curious to see how much I would like these. See swatches and find out my thoughts below!
So I really like the colors/finishes of the two shades that I have. Champagne Glam has a shimmer to it and really shows up on the lips since it makes the gloss look extra shiny. Mocha Twist is more of a brown nude color and does not have any kind of shimmer to it. I love how this give my lips a nice even neutral color and shine throughout the day. I did notice that they have a slight tingle effect but nothing too crazy where my lips instantly plumped up. My lips did look a bit more fuller but that seemed like it was from the shine vs. any plumping action.
These types of lip glosses tend to be quite sticky in case that is something you are wanting to avoid. I personally don't mind it and feel like the gloss definitely last longer during the day because it is staying put. They also have a sweet scent that is subtle but there. Mocha Twist has been the one I reach for the most since the shade is great for everyday.
