Today I have a review of the Essence Cosmetics Light Up Your Face Luminizer Palette. I picked this up at Ulta a few weeks ago, and I really wanted it to be an all-in-one good brightening face palette. Something that was inexpensive but would still do a really good job at making my skin look soft and glowy. It comes with 3 highlighters that are a nude, rose, and a golden beige. Was it everything I was looking for? Find out more on this below!

These three highlighter powders in the Essence Light Up Your Face Luminizer Palette with light-reflecting pigments accentuate your features with a glowing finish. Use individually or blend together to create natural dimension. Not tested on animals.
I was really excited to try this palette out and I think it was because I was loving how each of the powders have a different pattern on them. That was what made me buy in the first place. Once I swatched it, it kind of fell flat for me. I was expecting more of a shimmer or glow to the shades than what I got.
I felt like the first nude shade didn't have much of any shimmer to it. The middle rose shade did have the right amount of shimmer but it was too light on my skin. I did like the last golden beige shade a bit more since it seemed like a mix between the first and second shades. When applying on the face, i couldn't really build them up and the powders were not wanting to work on my skin. So as a whole palette, it did disappoint for me and I would skip this.
Essence Cosmetics Light Up Your Face Luminizer Palette retails for $5.99 and can be found at Ulta and other retail stores.
