Today I have a look at a matte liquid lipstick with Highlight Cosmetics. I love the look of matte lip products, but most of the time I don't enjoy how they feel on the lips. They can make my lips feel super dry after wearing them for only a few hours. This one from Highlight Cosmetics has definitely changed my mind about matte lip products and how they can actually feel really nice. Find out more and see a swatch below!
This is the shade Sandstone Cashmere and it is the perfect neutral nude shade that doesn't wash me out or look too light on my lips. Applying this was easy with the small doe-foot applicator and it helped me to be more precise when applying the color. I noticed that it does dry down fast, so you need to work kind of quick when applying. I like that about it though because I know once I apply it, it's going to stay put and not budge. It has a subtle scent that doesn't bother me and I actually liked it after I used it a couple times.
All of the Highlight Cosmetics matte liquid lipsticks have a natural infusion of turmeric, green tea, white tea, and sea kelp that give the lips a soft and smooth finish. I was able to wear this lipstick for hours and through eating and drinking without any problems. This is also one of the most comfortable matte lip products I have worn. I was really pleased with how long wearing it was and the way it kept my lips hydrated.
