Covergirl Katy Kat Matte Lipsticks (2 Shades) - Swatches and Review

Covergirl has came out with a new lipstick line with Katy Perry called Katy Kat Matte. There are 12 shades in the collection and so far they have been spotted at Walgreens and Walmart. The two shades I have are Catoure and Kitty Purry. They are not going to be completely matte, more of a "demi-matte" is how they are described by Covergirl. See more photos and swatches below!

More information about the Covergirl Katy Kat Matte Lipsticks:
The new matte is the demi-matte. COVERGIRL Katy Kat Matte Lipstick features luscious demi-matte shades created by Katy Perry. Soft finish that feels creamy and moist on lips.

The Covergirl Katy Kat Matte Lipsticks feel smooth and glide on the lips with ease. I was hoping the shade Kitty Purry was going to work but on me it looks really pink as shown in the left pic. It's still not a bad shade and is actually nice for spring. Catoure has been my go-to shade lately since it's a nice mauve shade which is the kind of color I tend to go for. The lipsticks are pigmented and I am really into the cute packaging.

Since these are demi-matte, they are very comfortable on the lips and moisturizing. I really love how they feel throughout the day and my lips don't dry out like they can with other matte lip products. They kind of have a satin matte finish which I prefer for everyday wear and I will definitely buy more of these.

Covergirl Katy Kat Matte Lipsticks retail for $7.99 and can be found at Walgreens, Walmart, and other retail stores.

    1. I agree! I think I picked up that shade mostly for the name. :)
